Terms of Use
Last updated:
These Terms govern access to and use of exitlag-pulse.site (the “Site”), an independent educational guide about ExitLag and online-game network routing.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you use the Site for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Description of the Site
The Site publishes educational summaries, explanations, evaluation methods, and source links related to ExitLag and game-connection optimization. It is not a software download service, subscription seller, account portal, network provider, VPN, or technical-support desk.
Product features, plans, compatibility, supported games, network size, and device requirements may change. Official ExitLag pages take precedence over any summary on this Site.
3. Independence and No Affiliation
References to ExitLag identify the subject of independent commentary and education. They do not imply a commercial relationship, endorsement, sponsorship, certification, partnership, or authorization.
The Site cannot access ExitLag accounts, subscriptions, billing information, support cases, diagnostics, or software systems. Contact official ExitLag support for those matters.
4. User Obligations
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Attempt to bypass security, probe systems, or gain unauthorized access.
- Disrupt hosting, overload the Site, or introduce malicious code.
- Misrepresent your identity or authority when contacting the guide.
- Send passwords, payment details, or third-party account credentials.
- Copy or republish substantial Site content without permission.
- Use the Site name to imply an official relationship with ExitLag.
5. Intellectual Property
Original Site text, layout, visual design, and generated editorial images are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, you may view the Site and quote brief portions for noncommercial commentary with clear attribution and a link to the relevant page.
ExitLag names, logos, product marks, and third-party game marks belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers or licenses those third-party marks to you.
6. Corrections and Other Submissions
If you submit a correction, source, or feedback, you retain ownership of your original material. You grant the Site permission to review, quote, summarize, and use the submission to evaluate or improve editorial content. Do not send confidential material or content you are not authorized to share.
We are not required to publish, answer, retain, or act on a submission. Personal information in a submission is handled under the Privacy Policy.
7. External Links and Third-Party Services
The Site links to official ExitLag resources and may link to other sources. External websites are independently operated and have their own terms, privacy practices, security, pricing, and availability. A link does not guarantee accuracy or constitute an endorsement.
You are responsible for reviewing third-party terms before downloading software, creating an account, or making a purchase.
8. Performance and Technical Disclaimer
The Site does not promise that ExitLag will reduce ping, eliminate packet loss, increase FPS, prevent disconnections, or improve a particular game. Results depend on the original route, physical distance, internet provider, local network, congestion, device, game server, and configuration.
Educational testing suggestions are not a substitute for professional network administration. Back up important settings and follow official documentation before changing a device or network configuration.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site operator and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, gameplay progress, account access, or network availability arising from use of or reliance on the Site.
Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to access this Site during the preceding 12 months or USD $100. Access to the current Site is free of charge.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Site operator and contributors from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or content that you submit without the necessary rights.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may limit or terminate access to the Site when reasonably necessary to protect security, comply with law, address abuse, or discontinue the Site. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain effective.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are interpreted under applicable United States law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence. Conflict-of-law principles apply only to the extent required by law.
14. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, contact us and describe the issue so the parties can attempt a good-faith resolution. If the matter is not resolved, it may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using an eligible small-claims process.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect Site changes, provider requirements, or legal obligations. The updated Terms will appear on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
16. Severability and Entire Agreement
If a provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about use of this Site and replace prior discussions on that subject.
